Agnona Milano Flagship Store
Milan, IT
The design of the new store concept for the luxury brand Agnona embodies the brand identity, deeply connected with craftsmanship and noble, natural textiles, blending heritage with contemporary design. The store is designed to recall the embrace of the luxury fabric of Agnona coats' collar. The vertical surfaces are shaped with soft lines, like floating elements inside the architectural box. The Botticino marble dresses the space, both as a seminato floor and as the material for the marmorino walls and ceiling. The brick wall at the entrance pays tribute to the brand’sroots in the Piemonte countryside, with its brick architecture. Art pieces and bespoke furnishings talk about research in materials, craftsmanship and the beauty of the handmade process. The first flagship store of Agnona is located in the heart of the luxury shopping Quadrilatero district in Milan.
Braving challenging times for the world and the market, Stefano Aimone, the great-grandson of Ermenegildo Zegna, decides to personally acquire the brand and relaunch it with a split role between owner and creative director. Agnona strives to embody a lifestyle - a way of being in the world and for the world - that comes to life through garments that impart an intangible aura to those who wear them. Aesthetic sensitivity and functionality merge with the fluidity of our time in an emotional journey where the essence is the material, the focus is nature, the manner is kindness, the feel is lightness, and the commitment is continuity.
