Corian®, a solid surface brand well known for its capability of embodying contemporary design was willing of showing through the project called “Portraits of Life” its capability of fitting also in different contexts.
Different scenarios were then imagined to describe the full adaptability of the material in different contexts for all the categories of products offered, from basins to kitchen countertop through bathtubs and shower trays.
The products were virtually displayed in different locations, from a ‘900 Paris apartment to a mountain wooden cottage.
Corian® is a brand of solid surface material created and distributed by DuPont since 1967. DuPont is an American company formed as DowDuPont by the merger of Dow Chemical and E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company on August 31, 2017, and the subsequent spinoffs of Dow Inc. and Corteva. Prior to the spinoffs it was the world’s largest chemical company in terms of sales. The merger has been reported to be worth an estimated $130 billion. DuPont is ranked at No. 35 on the 2020 Fortune 500 list of the largest United States public corporations.
