The renovation transformed an existing venue of more than 700 rooms, built in the '70s, into a contemporary luxury resort. The project resulted from an invited competition and the design was committed in March 2024; the resort opened in August 2026.

CSA designed the space planning of the beachfront 5-star hotel and the interiors of the 108 rooms, as well as the hotel's beach club and swimming pool. CSA also developed the interiors of the welcome area and other spaces, such as the gym. The concept for this luxury hotel was conceived to create a dialogue with the distinctive Sicily of Kamarina: a landscape lit by southern sun but also characterized by lush vegetation and by the presence of the archaeological Greek site that gives the area its name.

The design is built on a strong connection with the site, bringing into the rooms' design the warmth and textures of ancient Greek terracotta. The rooms feel like a continuation of the powerful surrounding nature, while at the same time, the eye finds rest and peace from the intense outdoor light in the enveloping, warm atmosphere of the interior spaces.
