CRISTOFORI SANTI ARCHITETTI INTERIOR DESIGN & SPACE PLANNING

Lake Khuvsgul Hotel

Lake Khuvsgul, Mongolia

The luxury spa hotel is located on the shore of a Mongolian lake in the north of the country, in a wild region not far from the Russian border. The harsh weather of the region called for the design of rich and spacious rooms and common areas, strongly connected with the landscape. The hotel is organized into pavilions connected by covered passages, and features a generous spa with a stunning view ofthe surrounding woods and the lake. The interior design reinterprets elements of Mongolian tradition in a contemporary language. The interiors are warm and enveloping, allowing guests to enjoy the beauty of the place while feeling protected and cocooned.

The project is developed with Oneworks as lead architect for Mangia’s group and Mabatex. Mabetex is a global company which in a few years has become one of the most important players in the world with subsidiaries in 18 countries. Mabetex is specialized in most areas of prestigious civil and industrial planning and has a extensive portfolio for work carried out all over the world. The company’s primary goal is quality and customer satisfaction which has been the key to success.
