Palazzo in Lucignano
Lucignano, Tuscany, Italy
Set among the Tuscan hills, in the historic centre of the medieval village of Lucignano, this residence has been renovated with the aim of enhancing and bringing out its centuries-old architecture. The house was conceived as a buen retiro for Dallas-based landscape designer David Hocker and his wife, Gisela Borghi, and for their friends and guests. The choice of furnishings and materials creates a pleasing contrast between contemporary and traditional, reflecting the owners' wish to preserve the soul of the house while introducing their passion for contemporary design. The house design is conceived so to allow the possibility to use the spaces in a n independent way by the owner and their guests.
